Janoah Gardens is an established and popular retirement village with a warm, friendly atmosphere.

The name “Janoah“ comes from the Old Testament of the Bible - 2 Kings 15 v 29, to be precise. Apparently it was a place in Palestine that was noted as being very quiet. The modern-day Janoah Gardens certainly lives up to its name, with its quiet, peaceful, garden-like surroundings - a place where noise and confusion can be left behind and life can be enjoyed and shared with good friends.

Janoah Independent Living Units

Opening in late 2009, and catering for low and high care residents (including those with dementia), this brand new facility is tasteful, functional and fully-equipped. Yet, its smaller size gives it a warm and homely feel. There are two double rooms (ideal for couples), and 32 single rooms of which 16 are individually-ensuited.

Completed in three stages since 1990, our Janoah Gardens independent living units at Manly West are of either one- or two-bedroom configuration. They are functional, attractively finished, and affordable. The village is well placed to take advantage of cooling bay breezes and is enhanced by extensive landscaping and colourful gardens.

Life in a Janoah Gardens unit loses nothing to living in one’s own home, but there are the advantages of no maintenance, no gardening, and ready access to help in an emergency.

Allowing semi-independent living (because of the meals, laundry and cleaning services provided), Janoah Gardens serviced apartments have been acclaimed as having one of the most successful designs on the market. Their layout is certainly spacious and functional, with a large private balcony adding to the homely feel

An under-cover connection to the adjacent Community Centre means that serviced apartment residents have easy access to the village’s central amenities and regular activities.
